Remember you're not alone, our expert wedding planners are on hand to answer any questions and will guide you through every step of the process.
If you think you need extra help, we also offer a full ‘Planning Plus’ service, which can help you with all the finer details.

We have included a checklist just for you to make sure your wedding planning journey is as smooth as possible.
BOOKING
Sign & return the T&C's & Booking Form
Arrange your wedding insurance
Book the Registrar or Church for your ceremony and give notice of marriage
Send out cards to friends and family letting them know your wedding date
THE PLANNING SHOWCASE
Towards the beginning of your planning journey, you will receive an invitation for the Planning Showcase at Manor By The Lake.
This is a great opportunity to view the whole venue (including all 12 bedrooms), meet our recommended suppliers, view all of of our décor and in-house additional items, and try some evening food.
Receive a 10% discount on eligible items.
THE TASTE
This is your chance to sample some of the chef's selection of canapes, starters, mains and desserts before making your menu choices for your wedding day.
You will also get the opportunity to try some house wine, and talk about cocktails, mocktails or soft drinks for your day.
At the taste, you'll meet the Chef & Bar Team, and have the opportunity to ask any questions to the Weddings Team.

8 weeks before your wedding day, you will need to send the planning team your...

Bedroom Allocations
Food & Drink Choices along with any dietary requirements
Supplier contact details, public liability insurance & PAT certification
Music for your ceremony, drinks reception & wedding breakfast
Additional extras, décor or items booked
FINAL PLANNING
Your final planning meeting will take place 9 weeks before your wedding.
You will be assigned a Wedding Planner, whom will run through your day from start to finish, going through every detail of the day.
Within 2 weeks after your final planning meeting, you will receive a copy of all of your wedding plans to review - including an Event, Timing & Menu plan.
Final payment for your wedding is then due 6 weeks before your wedding.
Your wedding plans will be finalised 4 weeks before your wedding.
Around a week before your wedding, your Wedding & Event Manager will call you to introduce themselves & to go through any last questions before the big day!

What time is check-in and check-out for the bedrooms?
Check-in to bedrooms is from 12:30pm for house guests. Check-out is 10:00am the follwoing morning.
Do you offer wedding breakfast options for dietary restrictions?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and others. Please inform us in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Can you plan our wedding wedding for us?
Yes, we can. Our Planning Plus service is always available to you. Let us know you are interested and a member of the Planning team will contact you to go over the different services provided.
Are pets allowed at Woodhall Manor?
We do have specific rooms that are pet-friendly. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a pet so we can make suitable arrangements.
