Costs range from £320 - £550 for their services
Civil ceremonies last between 25-35 minutes depending on how you personalise them. You can add a reading, poem or song given by a loved one and add music to suit your wishes

We can suggest a number of musicians to play at your ceremony, from Harpists, Classical Guitarists, Pianists or even a String Quartet.

Church Weddings
For couples planning a church wedding in Suffolk, Woodhall Manor is ideally situated as a reception venue for ceremonies taking place at many of the area’s beautiful local churches. A short drive would allow you to enjoy a traditional ceremony whilst still benefiting from the stunning surroundings and facilities offered by Woodhall Manor.

Timings for church ceremonies vary from church to church but typically last around an hour. After your ceremony allow time to greet your guests and for your photographer to get all the photographs you would like at the church.
Following your ceremony, plan your journey time back to the Manor. We would recommend allocating a member of your party to call us the moment you leave the church, to ensure our operations team is on hand to greet you as soon as you arrive here.
If you require transport to and from the church we will be happy to recommend one of our trusted car and limousine services. You and your guests may want to check in to the manor before your church ceremony. If this is the case, you could book refreshments to make your guests feel welcome.

Manor wedding spaces
Manor By The Lake has beautiful spaces, including the grand Ballroom, three beautiful outdoor ceremony spaces including the Italian and Lakeside Pavilions and the Manor Arches.
As an exclusive use venue we are able to offer you the use all of these spaces and areas for your wedding.
The Bishop’s Room
Enveloped in wood panelling, the Bishop’s Room in the manor house provides the most romantic space for your ceremony. Licensed for 50 people, it is a perfect room for the more intimate wedding, say your vows in front of an ornate fireplace under the beautiful Tudor ornate ceiling.
The Nelson Room
With an ornate fireplace and licensed for 40 people, the Nelson Room is the ideal location for an intimate wedding in front of your closest friends and family or if you’re a smaller wedding party chose this for a more intimate dining experience.
Cherry Blossom
With a contemporary feel, this light and airy room provides a wonderful intimate feel for your wedding ceremony. Suited to any theme and style this popular choice for the ceremony is licensed for up to 94 guests.
The Ballroom
The host for the larger wedding, our beautiful Ballroom is licensed for up to 130 people. With exposed beams and high ceilings, this room is suited to weddings at any time of the year.
The Dovecote
In the Summer months our Dovecote hosts the most romantic of garden weddings there is to see. The original walled garden boasts an opportunity to wed under the big Suffolk skies. Licensed for up to 130 people, the Dovecote is perfect for both small and intimate weddings or larger guest parties.
Frequently Asked Questions
What time is check-in and check-out for the bedrooms?
Check-in to bedrooms is from 12:30pm for house guests. Check-out is 10:00am the follwoing morning.
Do you offer wedding breakfast options for dietary restrictions?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and others. Please inform us in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Can you plan our wedding wedding for us?
Yes, we can. Our Planning Plus service is always available to you. Let us know you are interested and a member of the Planning team will contact you to go over the different services provided.
Are pets allowed at Woodhall Manor?
We do have specific rooms that are pet-friendly. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a pet so we can make suitable arrangements.
